Many people might wonder about the name Secret Squirrel Workshop. The name comes from my time and job in the military. Doing Secret Squirrel stuff. One of the first carvings I created that I was really proud of was the U.S. Air Force Intel key. It was that carving that made me think of Secret Squirrel Workshop.

Secret Squirrel Workshop was started for two reasons. My two little squirrel helpers. I started this on going journey with goal of building something that the boys could take part in and learn from. Also to have a business that would allow me to be there for my boys. My goal is to make amazing high quality gifts that are affordable. I want an E-2 to be able to get a gift that could also be given to a commander, without breaking the bank.

Another goal is to use as much American made products as possible, which I am happy to say is just about everything I use. The endmills I use to carve the wood, the sand paper I use, to the finish I apply at the end are all made right here in the USA!
